New Years Resolution
My New Years Resolution will be to use the treadmill this year. My Sister-in-law gave Brittany this because she's been begging for one forever. She wanted it in her room even though I tried to get her to put it some place else. The whole family really loves it and we are in there more which she hates. LOL No privacy. The treadmill allows us to walk in the evenings and not have to worry about it being cold, rainy or dark outside. Thanks so much Jennifer! :) What a great gift!

Madison 5 Months Old
Our little present is 5 months old today.
This is what Madison is doing now:
- She is sitting much more by herself
- She is eating baby food/cereal/juice. Her favorite's are pears and carrots.
- She is rolling over constantly.
- She reaches and plays with toys.
- She laughs when Brittany covers her face with a blanket/peek-a-boo.
- She sits in her baby walker.
- She loves to just blow raspberries.
- She is wearing a size 6/9 months, somes 9/12 for extra room.
- She weighs about 17lbs now.
- She can drink from a sippy cup and holds it herself. (Bye Bye Bottles)
- She sleeps well through the night, only waking once for a feeding.
- She loves to be held by her Brother & Sister and they take good care of her too.
- She has moved out of the small baby bathtub and into the big tub because she splashes so much.
- She smiles everytime she see's her Daddy come into the room. (Daddy's girl)
- She will snack on these rice crackers called Num Nums and hold them all by herself.
- She is starting to crawl a little and will move towards her toys.
- She is the best present we could've asked for this Christmas. :)

Winnie the Pooh Take Two
See this outfit Madison's wearing. It was Brittany's when she was little.

There's a picture to prove it. Lower left corner that is baby Brittany wearing this Winnie the Pooh outfit one Christmas.

Don't they look like twins? Brittany in the above picture, Maddie below.

It's always fun to dress Madison up in Brittany's old clothes. The resemblance is striking.

Christmas at Mam & Pap's House
Since my good camera is acting up, I tried to capture some Christmas moments with my camcorder. The picture's are blurry I know, but hopefully you can still make them out. We spent Christmas up at Johnny's parents house. This year was a lot different then the past we've had up there. First there was the absense of Robert but also another kid to in the house to. It was bittersweet, but we made the most of it as best we could.
Here I am trying to get a picture of myself. I'm always taking the pic's, never in them. LOL

Brittany opening gifts with Maddie.

Jared playing with the dogs.

Johnny's Mom getting lunch ready.

Roasting some chickens. Our favorite meal when we come up. The original KFC. Ha!

Johnny & his Mom in the kitchen.

Kids keeping an eye on the tree.

Johnny's Dad teases Jared about waiting to open his gifts. You could see he was ready to jump over the couch for them when he had the go ahead.

My kids pose by the tree once more.

The baby was in her princess pink walker when she wasn't being held. She loves all the toys attached.

We paid a visit to Johnny's Brother's grave before we left.

This is the scene of where Robert's motorcycle accident took place. There sits a cross in his memory.

We hope your Christmas was a blessed one. Everyday should be treasured with your loved ones this we've learned.

Rollie Pollie Ollie
This is Rollie Pollie Ollie as I have nick named her recently. Ha!

She starts off on the floor this way. Looking up at us.

Before we know it she has flipped over and rolled to her stomach. Playing with toys is much more fun this way. (the hair bow gets pulled off too at some point)

My little girl is sure growing up fast.

And if this isn't trouble enough, she is already starting to crawl. I kid you not. She is pushing off with her feet but moving forward and backwards. Can you believe this? Yikes! She's not even 5 months old yet. She might be walking at 6. {Gulp}

T-shirt Model
See this snowman shirt? I made it for her. It says her name, Maddie on it to. I love baby shirts that can be personalized. I've got a few more that I've made as well. She'll be wearing them in my future pictures. All my training at that T-shirt place I worked at when I was young, has come in useful. LOL I feel like I am in the t-shirt business again. :)

Maddie makes a great model even though she likes to cover up the design with her hands. Despite my efforts, this is the best I could get of her shirt.

In this pic it appears she's saying, "this is all part of my secret plan." Mwah-ha-ha! That little stinker.

More Tutu's
Here's some more tutu's I made Madison. They are a bit more wild for the Holidays, but I just love them. She likes it too. I'll probably be making them in every color one day soon. I think Lil'girls just look so darn cute in these.

TuTu Cute!
Here's another thing I made Maddie the other day. It's a girly pink tutu. She look's so cute in it with her Christmas gingerbread shirt.

She was trying to figure out what this weird stuff was?

She looks so good in them, I think I'll make some more.

Brittany Celebrates Turning 14
Brittany is 14 years old officially today. We celebrated with a pool party over the weekend. It was a lot of fun but weird to be swimming when it's freezing weather outside. The pool was heated and the jacuzzi was quite warm. So it was perfect no matter what the weather was. Here are some highlights from her big day.
The food and table set up for a Luau theme party.

Blowing out the candles and making a wish.

The kids having fun in the pool.

Jared and his Cousin Austin hung out in the pool together.

Brittany and her friends relax in the jacuzzi.

Maddie had her swimsuit on too!

Johnny's Aunt helped me out with the baby.

Happy Birthday my big girl!
