I Won A Giveaway!!!

I was so excited to learn I won a special giveaway being held over at http://clutterbug.me/. I have been faithfully following Cas and her wonderful cleaning/organizational tips for some time now. She shares her household tips through her blog and YouTube video's. Her giveaway was a box full of Cas' favorite cleaning supplies if she reached her goal of 1000 YouTube subscribers. Well I entered because I am a cleaning fool and to my surprise won when her channel grew in a matter of days. I knew she would have no problem getting there because she's such a riot and her video's are always so motivating for everyone who watches. You must subscribe if you haven't already. I want to help her reach her next goal of 5000 YouTube subscribers. The next lucky winner of that giveaway will get a roomba she says. Wow! Can you believe that? I know those little robot vacuum's are so wonderful to have. So please check out Maltose79 on YouTube and subscribe.

This is what came to me in the mail the other day. Sent all the way from Canada.

People might think I'm weird to get excited over cleaning products, but hey...I'm a neat girl. Clean makes me happy! :) Look scrub free for my bathroom. I've never tried this other product before maybe because it's only found in Canada? I think it's gonna be a new fav of mine though.

I always heard such great things about Method cleaners. I went out looking for them around my town but of course they don't sell them here. I was just about to order them online and then she sent me some. Yeah!

After giving them a try, my whole house smells wonderful. These products are scented and now I can't stop cleaning with the pink multi-purpose cleaner just to have that fresh grapefruit scent in the air. The blue glass cleaner smells like mint and the wipes are eucalyptus scented. I've got to try more of these products. I think I'm addicted.

She didn't stop there though. If that wasn't enough, she sent me a gift card to be able to purchase a Swiffer vac and mop. Isn't that just too much? I am thrilled and I have no excuse not to buy one now.

She also enclosed one of my favorite publications from Better Homes and Gardens. Whenever it comes out, I certainly grab one of the checkout shelf. She knows just what an organizing freak like me loves. There are sooooo many great ideas in this magazine. I can't put it down. If you want your home to look fab, you must pick up a copy for yourself.

All I can say is, Thank you soooo much Cas for all you sent. It was more then I ever expected to receive and I could not be happier. I'm using everything and it comes in perfect timing. We will be moving soon and will be needing all these supplies during the process.

Remember to check out her blog and enter her next giveaway!

Candles By Victoria

I'm loving my new candles and wax tarts from Candles by Victoria so much I just have to add these to my March favorites. I've been hearing about these yummy smelling, hand-poured with love for sometime now on you tube. I finally decided enough was enough and I was gonna order me some. Well this wonderful lady in Texas can make just about any scent your craving. She list over 500 currently. It was so hard to choose so I order two mason jars and a couple of scent shots as she calls them to try out. If your a Twilight fan, she has a lot of scents that smell like Jacob, Edward & Bella. I thought that was pretty cool, so I ordered me a couple of those. I have to say, it smells like your walking in the woods with them. She also throws in one free scent shot with each order. I received "Bubblegum" and it smells just the same. Every tart was right on as it was described. You must head on over to Candles By Victoria and order you one or two for yourself.

My house smells super yummy right now. Good-bye dirty diaper odor! :)

I Heart Orange Julius

A favorite drink from California has arrived in Kentucky! I can't believe that Dairy Queen and Orange Julius have joined forces. They now sell their one of a kind drinks and I can have it anytime.

I picked up a couple of drinks as we waited for Brittany to get out of school. Maddie will not wait in her car seat so I let her move about the car while we are parked.

They have all sorts of great smoothies too. Brittany loves their triple berry blast and I had a tropical smoothie yesterday. Oh my, it was so good!

Where are you Brittany?

Even when we don't have to sit and wait for her older Sister to get out of school, this Summer we will be making many trips to our local Dairy Queen.

Pretty New Chair

Little one has a new high chair. I finally found one that I love. If I have to look at it everyday, it has to be pretty and this is the one for me. It had a lot of great features, one being that it can fold up, compact if you want to store it away.

She looks so small in it right now. It's a big highchair but it's made to grow with your child so she won't look that way after awhile. Pretty isn't it?

Almost Famous

I was watching my copy of New Moon yesterday. Which I got from Target because of the extra feature's {3-disk set} they were including. Plus a film cell which is pretty cool might I add. Anyways, I was watching that part where Alice takes the Cullen's/Bella's picture in the movie. I saw a little pink camera just like mine she was using.

I was thinking to myself, what are the chances of them using the camera I just bought? They didn't show a close up, but I had to investigate closer to see if it was in fact my camera in the film. I googled, I searched, and read that is was sadly not my camera. The same look, but a different brand. We were almost famous. HA! Oh well, I still love it. It would've been weird though if it was in fact my camera.

My film cell is of Edward. It's numbered and is suppose to be limited edition. Very cool indeed. We wish it were Jacob though. We support Team Jacob, sorry Eddy!

Another Thing To Love

Have you tried these new Purex detergent sheets? It's actually detergent/fabric softener/dryer sheets all in one. It's the coolest and it's made my life so much simpler. All ya got to do is pop one in the wash and forget about it. The days of measuring, scooping, spilling are long gone thanks to this new invention. I love it so much, I just had to blog about it. If you haven't tried them yet, you should. I bet you won't go back to powders or liquids again.

A New Camera

Did you notice anything new lately? Don't my picture's look a little bit better then before? Why...I finally bought a new camera. I'm so happy about this because I really hated the quality of my old pictures.

Here's my new baby!

Why pink you say?

Ah...duh...so a certain man in my house won't try to steel this camera away from me. Do you really think my hubby is going to be seen taking pictures with a pink camera? I think not. So of course it was part of my master plan. Mwah-ha-ha-ha

Nah...really I just bought this one because it was pretty and it would be a good little camera for Brittany someday. What I really want is a big Nikon D300.

Maybe Santa will bring it for me next year? They cost a pretty penny so I won't be getting it anytime soon. It's an investment but if you like taking pictures like me you might think it's worth it.

I'm still getting the hang of using this little guy so I'm slow at uploading new pictures. I hope to have new posts with pretty pictures for you to see everyday day or two. Check back often.

Must Haves in my Kitchen

I thought I would show you what I must have in my kitchen. These are some of my favorite products and they make my life so much easier. If you haven't tried any of these, you must.

First up, Press & Seal. Much better than Saran wrap and clings on your dishes without any fuss. Reusable and doesn't get stuck together like plastic wrap does. Makes storing left-overs in the same dish you served it in a big help. I hate creating any extra dishes to wash, since I AM the only dishwasher in this house.

Next up, slow cooker liners. I make a lot of meals in my crock-pot and hate the clean up. So you just put this down in the bowl first before you add your ingredients. Cooks the same, just with less mess when it's all gone.

Third, I love pre-cut foil. It dispenses the perfect size and I don't have to mess with cutting. Brittany is always making little pouches of food to cook in the oven, so this comes in handy around here.

Cooking sheets! I am always baking something in the oven on these things. I found a baking sheet that I just love. Most that are sold don't have enough depth on the side edge to catch juices that sometimes run out. The commercial bake ware does make a big difference. They are deeper to catch more and just seem to be all around better. This is what restaurants use in their kitchens. Since I'm feeding an army now, I feel like I need to have more industrial cooking items. I picked up another Oneida one up at Wal-mart the other day.

Well that's all for now. I will be posting more of my favorite products and household items in a future post. Look for that to come soon. I hope you'll try these and if you have, what do you think of them?

Gift Wrap Organization

I have a lot of wrapping paper, gift bags, bows & tissue that I keep for birthday's and such. I'm ready for any occasion. I've kept it stored in my craft closet. Well it's actually Madison's clothes closet now, but it still holds all my craft items. I have no where else to put it. I was running out of space and needed something to organize it all.. It needed some organization really bad since it's a very SMALL clothes closet.

{Exhibit A}

Look at that mess in there. It scares me every time I try to open the door. I just know it's all going to come tumbling down.

Then I came across this at Big Lots the other day. At last this is the answer to my prayers. Could it really fit all my gift wrapping items?

From this....

To this....
It holds my tissue paper on the bottom and gift bags in the many pocket above.

Look how nicely it holds those large rolls of wrapping paper!

What I like most is that it hangs nicely in the back where no one can see it. Whenever I do need some wrapping paper, it neatly organized and ready to go.

Aaaah...one less headache.

It's my new favorite thing.

Did you know?

Did you know they sell Panda Express sauces in the grocery store now? I just found this the other day. I don't know how long it's been on the shelves, but to me it's new. We don't have Panda Express resturants out here in Kentucky, (at least no where near me) and it's always something my kids and I miss from the West coast. We love their Chinese food and with the new line of sauces, I can try to duplicate it at home.

We made some rice and chicken to use the sauce with.

As you can see we've used a lot of this already. It's sooooo good. My kids even use the sauce to dip their chicken nuggets in. It's going fast. I better get some more and stock my shelves before we run out.

Look for it at your grocery store. I found this in the Asian section at my Super-Walmart.

Mommy's Model

I love making colleges of my favorite baby model. These are the pictures I choose from to make my February header. In case your wondering, I make all her personalized t-shirts and hair bows. I am hard at work in my craft room creating these for her. She just looks so darn cute, it's worth my time.
