In the spirit of things, she's wearing her pretty heart outfit. I think she would rather me stop taking her picture though and start playing with the play-doh. It's her new favorite activity.

I Heart U
This weeks it's all about hearts. We are counting down the days to Valentines. My kids are already starting to make their paper hearts. Madison made this one in playgroup. They glued on some sparklie alphabet letters to their cut-out heart. When we got home Madison put it on our fridge to display. She's very proud of her work and I am to. :)

Our Indoor Park
Since we are snowed in most of the Winter months, I thought it would be best to bring the park indoors. Madison is a very active 18 month old little girl and needed something for all her energy while stuck inside. For Christmas I bought her this cool castle slide. It has a little rock climbing wall for steps, tunnel under the slide, attached toys she can stand to play with and of course a baby slide. She loves it and so do I. I highly recommend it to other Mom's.

First Snow
Madison was way to small last year to remember the snow. This year she's trying to figure out what it is. It's been in the single digits this week and way to cold for the kids to actually play in it. I did however let her go outside for a couple of minutes to touch the ice. She had the weirdest look on her face. It was cute. (I didn't have her all bundled up like I should because she was just outside to touch the snow, not play just in case your wondering :)
Here is her first snow pic's.

The yard looks pretty covered in white sparkles. This is Maddie's tiny playhouse that sits covered in snow right now.

Our driveway....

The road to our house....

All covered in a blanket of fresh white powder. So pretty, but also soooo cold! We are staying busy indoors for now. :)

Cleaning is Love
Getting the kids to help you clean is love in my book. Nothing makes me more happy then when they help me around here. I have some favorite tools that get the job done.

This week we our cleaning our dirty floors. Madison is always spilling her juice/milk and snacks on my floors. (yuck!) I hate nothing more then a sticky floor. As often as I can I try to give my floors a good wipe. If I can get the kids to help me thats an added bonus.
This is what I use to clean my wooden floors. It's an excellent that shines and cleans at the same time. I love a two for one deal. If you have wood floors, give this stuff a try.

Mommys Little Helper. So easy a toddler can do it. Ha!

This is what I use on my tile kitchen floors. My best friend...the wet jet. You know it's a fun mop to use. My Daughter will see me pushing the button for a little more cleaner to come out of the mop head and she will want to take over. It's all about making cleaning fun is how you get the kids to help.

Lastly, my little cone dust buster by dirt devil get those hard to reach places. My Son helps me get the dust on the stairs with this.

I think she likes Dora
I don't know why all the little girls love Dora the Explorer, but I have one now to. She can say her name and gets all excited when she she's her on TV or on a new toy in the store. I'm starting to buy her everything Dora now, just because it makes her so happy. You can find her staring up at the TV when she comes on. She's even got Dora pajama's and a Dora play kitchen. She is going to be easy to buy for Christmas don't you think?

Projects
I added a little zebra stripe ribbon to the bottom of Maddie's pants for some added design this Halloween. Then I added some bling and bedazzeled it along the edge for some sparkle. I think it turned out cute.

Then I used pumpkin molds and poured plaster inside. One for each child to paint for Halloween. I helped with maddies of course. This stuff sets up really quick so I didn't get a chance to add their handprint to the back. I will have to do that with cement next time. They loved painting them. All very different and unique I would say.
Madison's

Jared's

Brittany's

I guess Brittany's pumpkin is bleeding and got shot or something. I don't know what this teenager is thinking these days?? Ha!
That's it for the projects around here for now. Christmas is coming, so they'll sure be some more coming my way.

Little Punk
This little girl of mine was all attitude when I put on her sisters Halloween wig. She wore it for the longest time and it was the funniest thing ever. She looked so old with all that hair. Hannah Montana watch out. There is a new rock star diva in town.

First Birthday Unwrapped
It's all over. We've unwrapped every last gift and ate all the cake. Day's have passed since my Daughter's 1st big birthday party. I'm just now getting to talk about it because things are just so crazy here. We are all getting ready to go back to school, including me. It should make for an interesting year and I hope I can keep up with the kiddo's. I've never put together a child's birthday in the Summer before. My other two have Winter birthday's so we are usually dealing with cold weather. This time we were able to go outside a bit, but I do enjoy my A/C. Ha! All in all Madison's party turned out really cute. I had a lot of fun decorating for this party as usual. I can't wait till the next. Enjoy the picture overload.

Brittany made this wonderful cake for her little Sis. Isn't it pretty? She worked really hard on it. More later on that. This is how it turned out though.

She is now enjoying all her new toys. Especially her new swing that hangs perfectly in the big tree out front. It was a really nice family day. I wish everyone could've been there to celebrate with us.
