This Week

Since school ended last Friday I have been busy, busy, busy! I'm going through every drawer and box in the house looking for stuff to get rid of. We have way to much junk and it is my goal to cut down the clutter this Summer. I'm a women on a mission. Between my daily dose of cleaning, I have been trying to entertain the kids who tell me they are already bored. Vacation just started and they are bored. Can you believe that? Anyhow, I'm trying this week to do something fun everyday. Even if it's a trip to Sonic for an ice-cream. So far we've done a little of this and that. It started off with a rainbow. Maybe that's a good sign? Here is our week in pictures.

Then we were driving to Lexington to do some shopping and we came up on this vehicle. What do you know? It was a Tony Stewart trailer. Wow! Exciting because I'm a big fan as many of you know. :)







When we got to Lexington, I of course had to stop at some of my favorite stores.





Brittany must have a pretzel when we get to Target!



It's not complete without the kids needing an icee too.



Maddie just wanted all the toys to entertain her while we shopped.




We put the baby (almost 1 year old now) in her new floatie so she could swim with the big kids. She didn't know what to think about that at first. Ha!



After awhile she started to enjoy the pool...and was interested in everyone around us.



She was all smiles at the end of the day so no damage done.



That's a little bit of what we've been up to. It's back to cleaning and organizing for me today. I hope to sneak out later and take the kids to see the new Toy Story movie playing. That should keep bored kids happy for another minute or two.
