Where have I been?

I haven't been able to post anything new to my blog in such a LONG time. There are several reasons to why but in short I've been just sooooo busy. I wanted to post some new pictures of the kiddies and what we've been up to but... a lot has happened in recent weeks. Maybe I should catch you up to speed. Since Madison's birthday we have been,

Back to school,

Including me! I'm now a college student getting my certification in Early Childhood Education. Maybe soon I can be a preschool teacher or work in the elementary schools with all the papers I'm writing. There's a lot of homework going on.

I've also started working nights at this creepy medical building. It's supposely haunted and weird things happen all the time there. I could tell you some stories, but I'll save them for Halloween.

Anyways I'm working to help pay the lawyer fees and other things. Why am I paying a lawyer? Because if you haven't heard yet, {{HE}} filled for divorce. I really was blindsided by this. So it's been hard, but I'm trying to deal with it as best as I can. I'm okay though, and probably better off.

Now I'm having to look for a new place to live as a Single-Mom. There's not a lot of great options in my area, so looks like the kids and me might have to move into an apartment by next Summer. I'm hoping for a small house I can afford though. I am interested in a house on this street which just happens to be called, Disney Dr. How cool would that be if I lived on a street that reminds me of Disneyland? It's so not Disneyland by any means but its a cool street to talk about.

I just held a yard sale and have been taking a ton of stuff to the goodwill. We won't be able to move it all to a smaller house so I'm trying to clear the clutter. Putting together a yard sale is always exhausting for me because I have to do it alone and all the work. The money is the only thing that motivates me to do this.
This little girl had a yard sale of her own outside her house. Ha-Ha

We were able to get out on a family members boat and take a little ride around the lake for a bit. That was fun.

We also saw the chicken festival parade. This is the birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken and so every year they have the Col. ride in a parade and make the largest batch of fried chicken you've ever seen. It's big excitement out here. We go to make fun of all the characters because we think it's so darn silly. Ha!

Still I'm keeping the faith and hoping my troubles are almost behind me.

Till next time.....
