Candles By Victoria

I'm loving my new candles and wax tarts from Candles by Victoria so much I just have to add these to my March favorites. I've been hearing about these yummy smelling, hand-poured with love for sometime now on you tube. I finally decided enough was enough and I was gonna order me some. Well this wonderful lady in Texas can make just about any scent your craving. She list over 500 currently. It was so hard to choose so I order two mason jars and a couple of scent shots as she calls them to try out. If your a Twilight fan, she has a lot of scents that smell like Jacob, Edward & Bella. I thought that was pretty cool, so I ordered me a couple of those. I have to say, it smells like your walking in the woods with them. She also throws in one free scent shot with each order. I received "Bubblegum" and it smells just the same. Every tart was right on as it was described. You must head on over to Candles By Victoria and order you one or two for yourself.

My house smells super yummy right now. Good-bye dirty diaper odor! :)

I think she likes Dora

I don't know why all the little girls love Dora the Explorer, but I have one now to. She can say her name and gets all excited when she she's her on TV or on a new toy in the store. I'm starting to buy her everything Dora now, just because it makes her so happy. You can find her staring up at the TV when she comes on. She's even got Dora pajama's and a Dora play kitchen. She is going to be easy to buy for Christmas don't you think?

We're Outta Here

We hit the road to get a jump start on some back to school shopping if you can believe that. Our trip turned into an overnight one. After a full day of shopping, we were all too tired to drive all the way home. Especially when Maddie is wanting out of the car. I called it our mini-vacay because we got a hotel room and had a lot of fun. The kids loved being some place new and we had been shopping all day so we already had extra clothes with us. We still however made a night run to Target before they closed. It's fun being in a store late like that. I use to work there and I forgot how peaceful it is that time of day. The best time to shop, but still not ideal when you have to bring three kids with you. Just because it's Summer though, they are up late anyhow so it didn't matter going shopping that time of night. We stalked up on all sorts of goodies and made it back to our hotel. Jared wished they had an X-Box and Brittany wished she had her computer, but they survived one night without their tech gear. This is some of the things we did.

We hit up Toys R Us first. There we got to see what Madison would like for her birthday.

At the Mall...Brittany got her California Roll Sushi.

Madison finally tuckered out. She was going and going all day! I thought she would never take a nap.

Jared always gets a kick outta seeing this store with his name on it.

The glorious view from our hotel room. MY FAVORITE STORES in the distance. I wished we lived there.

The next day we headed home. Tear, Tear. We did do a few more things to lift our spirits.

Jared practiced some at the batting cages

We treated ourselves to some ice-cream. Sonic is always sweeter after-dark. The new Campfire Ice-cream flavor. It does taste like a smore in a cup!

Next trip? Which way should we turn?

I think we are going to do another overnighter before school starts. It was a lot of fun and less stressful when you don't have to worry about doing all the driving in one day.

Now it's time to focus on putting together a great birthday party for Maddie. Our house is transforming, I've been busy decorating too. Pictures to come.

This Is How We Roll

This is how we roll, through Wal-mart at least. Maddie is big enough to sit in a shopping cart like a big girl now. That is great except for all those germs that are spread all over them from kids who sat their before. I don't even want to think about all the gross stuff you could find on the handle. So I purchased this cart cover that goes in the seat. It's handmade by a girl I found online. I picked out the colors/pattern I wanted and she did the rest. She even made a little pillow for her to use if she gets sleepy while shopping. So cute! I get so many stares and questions about this cart cover when she's in it. People just love it. Maddie loves it too.

She's nice and cozy in it. Plus a whole lot safer because it comes with it's own seat belt and latches to the cart so she can't jump out.

It makes shopping more fun. This day we were looking for a new car seat. She's outgrown her infant one.

I choose another pink car seat (big surprise there). She's lovin her new big girl seat and it's been perfect for the short trips we've been taking this week.
