I Heart U
This weeks it's all about hearts. We are counting down the days to Valentines. My kids are already starting to make their paper hearts. Madison made this one in playgroup. They glued on some sparklie alphabet letters to their cut-out heart. When we got home Madison put it on our fridge to display. She's very proud of her work and I am to. :)

In the spirit of things, she's wearing her pretty heart outfit. I think she would rather me stop taking her picture though and start playing with the play-doh. It's her new favorite activity.

Time To Organize
I'm organizing everything around our home. I've gone mad, but everything must be in order I've decided this year. Not only will it make the house look better, but run smoother too. I've been looking at other blogs who have inspired me to join their challenges. It feels good to have order and feel like I'm accomplishing a goal each day. This month I started in our basement and sorting through each box. I'm still not finished but it's a big task that should be done by Spring. I'll be ready for a big yard sale then.
Currently I just finished organizing my kitchen cupboards/pantry. I hated finding half empty boxes of crackers or cereal the kids would put back. Taking up extra space that could make room for some nice containers. So I decided to take everything out of their original boxes and just place them into bins. Every container is labeled by category and much easier for me to find. I took inventory of what I had on hand as well and was able to go to the store today knowing what I actually needed this time. I found the labels on my favorite blog, I Heart Organizing. Check her site out. You'll come to love her as I do.

I found all these matching green baskets at my dollar store. I didn't spend a lot on containers for this project.

Even my beverage cupboard got a little make-over. Luv it!

Super Models
I finally had the three kids pictures taken together at our olan mills studio over the weekend. It's been long overdue and it was on my to do list for the new year. I just know it's hard getting my gang to want to take some more pictures and didn't want to fool with it. I do that enough with my own camera. Plus I didn't think Madison would sit still long enough or smile for a stranger. The headache of it all was worth it though in the end. I got some really cute pictures that are on order. Here are some of the proofs of my super models to share with my peeps. :)

Glee-ful Night's
How do we stay warm on these snowy cold nights you ask? Well we are sitting by the fire, in our PJ's, eatting handfuls of popcorn and watching episode after episode of Glee of course. It's been a nightly event in our house.

My girls even have matching froggy pajama's. So cute!

That's what we are up to in our house while being snowed in all week with no school. January is always a cold one here in Kentucky.

Our Indoor Park
Since we are snowed in most of the Winter months, I thought it would be best to bring the park indoors. Madison is a very active 18 month old little girl and needed something for all her energy while stuck inside. For Christmas I bought her this cool castle slide. It has a little rock climbing wall for steps, tunnel under the slide, attached toys she can stand to play with and of course a baby slide. She loves it and so do I. I highly recommend it to other Mom's.

Christmas Family Fun
Having some fun with the family during our Christmas visit at my Mom's house. My Daughter and Brother were giving the Michael Jackson Wii Dance Game a try. Pretty good for beginners I think. Even my little one could do it. :)
