Our Indoor Park

Since we are snowed in most of the Winter months, I thought it would be best to bring the park indoors. Madison is a very active 18 month old little girl and needed something for all her energy while stuck inside. For Christmas I bought her this cool castle slide. It has a little rock climbing wall for steps, tunnel under the slide, attached toys she can stand to play with and of course a baby slide. She loves it and so do I. I highly recommend it to other Mom's.

I think she likes Dora

I don't know why all the little girls love Dora the Explorer, but I have one now to. She can say her name and gets all excited when she she's her on TV or on a new toy in the store. I'm starting to buy her everything Dora now, just because it makes her so happy. You can find her staring up at the TV when she comes on. She's even got Dora pajama's and a Dora play kitchen. She is going to be easy to buy for Christmas don't you think?

You Might Get Burned

Every couple of days I try to keep Madison's toys clean by boiling them in hot water. Sometimes I soak them in a little bleach, but hot water I think is best. It does the job too. The other day I forgot I had left them on the stove and I over-cooked the toys. Her favorite little play things. I found them too late. They were already starting to melt and turn colors. I burned them! Darn! I don't know if you can tell from these pictures, but they are all a little ruined.

I'm kicking myself right now. I hate that I did that. She has a million others to play with, but still...I feel bad about destroying these. I'll probably go out today and buy her some more to replace these. Hopefully I don't burn those too.

Jareds Halo Battlescene

My eight year old Son made a short video of his newly built Mega Bloks Halo toy set. One that Halo fans like him can really appreciate. :) He did such a great job with his tour I thought I'd share it here.
